What's Up With Me?

Hola All!

Just showing up quickly to give you a rundown. I know I haven't been posting much lately but I wanted to prove that I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. Things are up in the air right now so that is why I haven't been blogging much right now. Okay, what's up with me? Why haven't I updated as much lately?

Been busy and then some!

1. The agent search is going pretty good so far. I got my fingers crossed. I've gotten positive replies from some agents.I have my eye on one agent especially. I hope I get this one particularly but if not I will stay positive. I have a feeling the others I contact will be interested as well. See what being positive gets you?

I should be finished with one of my novels by the end of the week. Remember the sequel I was working on? Well, it's finally over. I'd gotten cold feet with it over the last few days. I know how I want everything to end up but it's always hard for me to get to the ending. So I have been working on that.

2. Getting ready for the holidays and putting together a list of things needed to be done. I am very happy because things are going well with my life and my family. I would share but it's personal so…just know that being positive has helped. I know this New Year will be great because unlike the past, I plan to start this year off right by being positive from the get go.

3. One reason I haven't been updating much is because I kind of lost my passion for blogging. I still enjoy it but not as much right now because there seems to be more hurtful drama than it used to be. I haven't even had a chance to surf the blogs I usually read because sometimes you come across something that you just don't want to deal with. We all can do what we want on our blogs but I know it's not just me that's noticed this change. This is one reason why I haven't been as into my blog as before. I'll just concentrate on what I am doing and not on others. I like to take blogs as a way of relaxation but lately it's been stressful to even read some of them. I'd hate to think blogging is turning sour for good. I hope all this drama can finally die.

4. Been watching loads of good DVD's! It's been so long since I found some good movies that when I start watching them I don't stop. So this is one reason I don’t even feel like getting on the computer.

Just wanted to let you know what's up with me. Have a good day! Adios!

That picture is from one of my all-time favorite movies, The Breakfast Club! It is my favorite brat pack movie, the absolute best! 85' was a bad a—year if I say so myself! I was a little pup but still, I loved 1985 baby! True 80's kids and fans hold this classic dear to their hearts. Bootsy's a brat pack fan for life! My favorite brat packer was Judd Nelson! He was sooooo fine!

Do your thing, Stacy-D and don't let all the drama get to you...

I thought I was the only one who was a brat pack fan... My best friend and I love Molly Ringwald. I can look at 16 candles, Pretty in Pink, and The breakfast club all day long!!! Nothing like good ol' fashion teenage angst!!

I haven't seen that kinda of drama except on one blog. But I try to be positive about things and avoid conflict. You keep on pushing and doing you. Oh yea, Ladylee, I loved Brat Pack to especially Molly. Where is she?

Hola Nena!
Glad to see you are doing good. The Breakfast Club is the greatest--a timeless classic high schoolers of all generations can relate to! What ever happened to good ol' Judd?

I use to have a real 'thing' for Judd Nelson too. Yup, fine. He was the ultimate 'bad boy' celebrity crush for me. Now he's in a lot of 'b' movies that usually go to tv.
Hug's Hon, and congrats on finishing the book. That perfect agent will represent you...believing that for you.
