It All Comes Back

" Payback is a mother…"

Wasn't it James Brown who said that? I don't remember. Whoever said it was right. Payback is a mother and it all comes back.

Let me tell you the kind of person I am. I believe in fate. I believe that no one makes his or her own choices. I believe that we were predestined to be and do whatever happens. In my world, people are just chess pieces being controlled by a larger power. I also believe big time in Karma. But you don't have to believe in Karma to know that it happens every day. You best believe me. You do something bad to someone or hurt someone it all comes back with a vengeance so you'd best to get ready.

Payback IS a mother. You rape someone on a date in high school or in college then walk away like you're the big man on campus? That crap comes back. It may come in the form of you not being able to get an important job. Or the deal on your new car or house falls through and you go bankrupt. It'll come in the form of something you needed being stripped away until you have no clue what you do. Oh yes, it comes back.

I was tormented terribly in school. I was teased until I got in high school then I was kind of popular. You bully or tease someone in school to the point where you scar him or her emotionally then it comes back. You make fun of how someone looks or the lack of money they have, it will come back. It may come back in the form of your child being retarded. It may come back in the form of you never accomplishing your dreams. You probably wanted to go to college, play pro ball or become an actress or actor. If you find yourself wondering why nothing seems to go right for you no matter how hard you try than check your past. You may have done something to deserve it. It all came back.

You sleep with your best friend's wife, husband, girlfriend or boyfriend? You best believe it comes back. You cheat on your lover? It comes back. You abandon your kids and your spouse. It comes back. You treat someone wrong on the basis of his or her skin color, gender or sexual preference it comes back. You pretend to love someone only to use them, oh most definitely that comes back.

Everyone in this world can tell you that if you do something bad you will regret it. You may not know why things are happening to you at a certain point but if you did something horrible to someone then that's the main reason. I assure you. I've already won the battle with the people who tormented me. I became something they never will and never could. And where are those people? Sitting around somewhere, reading my book and telling people they knew me in school. Yeah but are they telling them how they teased me? Are they telling them how horrible they made me feel day after day? No. Because they probably don't remember all that but they feel pangs of jealousy whenever they see what I've accomplished and realize their lives, pitiful as they are, are what they deserve.

You beat on your wife or children? It all comes back. Tina Turner is the perfect example. After all the hell Ike put her through she rose above and became someone bigger than he could ever be. You don't think he sits around full of jealousy and resentment? Think again. He made his bed let him lie in it. See it all comes back?

The message of this post is to remember that treating people wrong is not worth it. If you walk around stepping on people's toes then be prepared to pay for that at a later date. Believe me fate works in mysterious ways. And it gets you every time. You can't run from fate. So don't even try. Just watch your back because in this life, everyone pays for his or her misdeeds. If this hits close to home then be prepared to pay for yours.

Look at Tina in the photo, y'all! Women empowerment at its best! You go girl!

Sheila I don't know where the brother is. The last thing I heard he was out of prison right? Shoot with the way things are going now he'll probably have a reality show soon or write a book about his life in prison. As if anyone would care enough to want to read it. Unless to make fun of him. He needs to stew in his own juices. Heck I saw the movie and from what Tina says, the movie, as much as it showed how horrible Ike was, didn't compare to how bad he was in real life. Beating on that little woman? I can't even stand to think of someone like him.

Good, in-your face post Stacy-D...

Yeah, fate is a law that has been set in motion since the beginning of time. I choose to think of it in more of a spiritual sense- reaping what you sow... I do my best to do good to people as often as possible, because like you said, Stacy, it all comes back on you... And it comes back like a mother!

You sow a bad seed, expect a crop of crap. Plain and simple. It never fails. Some folks out there need to pray for crop failure!

Hello Stacy-Deanne: Thanx for stopping by one of my blogs ;). I got a new addition it's http://emoxionex.blogspot.com I was voicing out some frustrations the other day in the form of a poem.
neway, YES, I strongly agree w/ what u say about karma. I try my best to be nice to everyone; a lot of people call me a "sweetie." I believe in that saying about what you give out comes back to you, three times.
I totally support woman empowerment as well! http://poemsoftoday.blogspot.com
I have a poem up there w/ a strong message.
I got teased a lot in high school because I was the "big girl" who got dumped and who couldn't wear our senior gowns w/o my "flab" showing. The cheerleaders teased me, laughed at me. Now, they're pregnant, still living in the small ass town, not doing anything w/ themselves. I was like "daaamn..." when I saw one of them pregnant.

I am enjoying all the input from all of you!

Princess, Sheila, Ladylee, it's good to get your opinions as always. You're a strong bunch of ladies and I always look forward to your comments.

E, I'm glad you made it to my blog! I very much understand what you say and of course I respect where you stand on the issue. Thanks so much for visiting!

Elsie, you go, girl! And look at you now compared to those people who teased you. You're a talented young lady and you obviously got it going on! Thanks for visiting and sharing your opinion! The trick is to rise above such hateful people and we must all do that to move on.
